I have used Turbotax for several years now, and I am always pleased with the ease of use and how simple to search and get answers to any questions. The flow is great and you are done in no time.

I'm yet to need or use your Audit Defense but it's well worth the piece of mind as it helps avoid sleepless nights... If you've ever gone thru an IRS audit, YOU KNOW what I'm talking about, they use fear and intimidation as as "well, let's just set this over hear" discipline. Using Turbo as an offence avoids needing a defense!!!

TurboTax has been reliable and taken care of my tax needs for quite a few years. Had one issue with business property a couple years ago which I was able to work around.

We have used turbotax for years. Most years everything has gone very smoothly. Our kids can file on the same download so that's great. However, last year turbotax asked about taking a small deduction that was about having a high deductible health account. One of you had to be retired, which fit our situation. Apparently it was a deduction we could not take and IRS is still holding our 2019 tax refund even though we filed last February. I don't feel that a deduction that was obscure and able to be taken by very few people should have even come up as an option. Some of the holdup is from IRS not working during the early part of COVID but the whole thing could have been avoided just by that deduction not showing up in the regular options for personal deductions. So my suggestion is that you call and ask about any odd deductions that show up instead of assuming (as I did) that it wouldn't be listed if it wasn't a deduction a lot of people could take.
