If you've gathered your information for a tax preparer, then why not enter it yourself and save the money? I'm a 57 year-old woman who has used the various versions of TurboTax to do our family taxes for 27 years. I tried another product once years ago. That product was thrown in the trash and replaced with TurboTax.

Had original copy physical disc, would not let us use the 5th install. so then had to purchase BASIC version. Kept getting stuck when entering STATE information and got stuck in a loop where you get most of the way through getting STATE entered and then you are kicked back to the start, even after spending the $45 to file for state. I have now wasted the original $80 on the deluxe disc version, plus the additional $50 for the basic version, plus $45 for STATE which I haven't even been successful in filing yet!
