Installation is terrible

I spent 2 hours one evening, another hour the next afternoon and a fourth hour in the evening to install the CD and find where to enter the license. Seems like all you want to do is sell Turbo Tax. If you purchase Turbo Tax at a retail store, your are your own. And why do I have to be a member to do my taxes?

great way to file my federal return

everything goes smoothly and quickly...but. there were a few times when I wanted info and couldn't find it, for example: while entering income information I wanted to download it from my investment firm. couldn't find out how. I entered all the 1099r's by hand. late on it became apparent how to access my MS accounts. after doing this, the 1099r's were entered twice.
should be an easy way to find out where specific items are in the overall procedure.
can't attribute this to my lack of experience: I've been doing computers since the 1960's

Have been a user for over 15 years or so and have been very pleased with the lay out and formatting of the process. As a Sr citizen, it is comforting to not have to totally adapt to an entirely new format each year.

Does the taxes, but in my case navigating is a little awkward. The search in step by step is lacking. I had to maximize my SEP contribution in forms this time for some reason. I would recommend flagging all important topics when you get to them so you can go back and review them later because otherwise it's sometimes hard to find your way back otherwise. Also, be sure to check your e-mail to make sure the return was accepted. My 2018 return was rejected because another person wrongly claimed my daughter as a dependent. An e-mail went to my Junk box and I didn't find out my return had not been submitted until a year later. This led to me having to mail a paper claim in 2019 and a huge delay due to covid for that year and even affected my stimulus check as a result.
