Useful tool

Turbo tax has continued to be a very useful tool in filing our taxes. just not impressed with the wording of some of the questions that seem very ambiguous to first time users. Those of us using Turbo Tax are not CPA's, so keep the questions simple. You can still ask the questions, but we're not building a piano here, what do you earn, what is deducted and then list deductions and credits on one page.

Turbo tax was easy to follow and fill out. Except when they pop up for $45.00 charge I still don't know what it was for!! I originally though it was for filing and paying for CA taxes. Which it wasn't - there was another $25.00 charge for filing CA taxes. I am very Unhappy about getting fooled into paying the extra $45.00 dollars.

Turbo Tax Program

I have used Turbo Tax for 15-20 years and have never had a problem with the program. I wouldn't rely on any other program or person to do my taxes.

It went great up until filling.

I got a message that the IRS rejected my filling due to incorrect pin #. While doing the second submittal I was expecting to be asked to enter the correct pin number from last year instead it went automatically without navigating to the error and fix the pin number. So the second filling is the same as the first filling (Hope the IRS will not lock me out). Also, It should initially been asked to use last year pin even so I did not use Turbotax. But I was advised to great any five digits number (Bad one).

The screens are difficult to read white on black very small print
Some areas a bit difficult - won't let you move to another page trying to upgrade

It would not save to PDF to print
