Love this phone. Google Pixel is the best for low light camera as we found so far. The software itself still suffers from the occasional lag in operating the camera as compared to our usual Samsung Note 8 and A51 5g. However, google's superior camera software beats everyone else from our experience.

Took forever to get activated. Used it for FOUR days, tried to connect to Bluetooth, the phone tried to reboot itself for NO REASON & never came back on even after 24 hours, just stayed on the boot-up screen. We could'nt do anything with it...turn it on, off, nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone, but still room for improvement

Excellent phone in every way, with the primary praise for the camera. My only criticisms are: face detection is not nearly as easy (or secure) as the fingerprint sensor on my Nexux 6P (which I replaced with this phone), the lack of a headphone jack and still no expandable sd card memory slot.

This is the most awful, fragile (and I had the Nexus 6p, know to fold in half in your pocket..), worse performing phone I've ever had. I thought having a plastic body would be nice but it chips if you so much as look at it. The screen might as well be paper mache. I was excited to have the awesome Google camera for so cheap, but I quickly found out why. Absolutely terrible garbage and a great way to get the Google faithful to buy an Iphone. To be fair the camera is pretty great but that won't matter when the rest of the phone is broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
