Overall, I am happy with my Pixel 5. Software is snappy, display is excellent, layout is streamlined and convenient. Build is clean and solid. Initial setup was a little frustrating (e.g. unintuitive at times), but ultimately successful. Only complaint is sound adjustability and interface are not that good. Sliding adjusters are not precise and sound is often too high or too low. Not a deal breaker. This appears to be a known software problem that can and will be fixed. Easily my favorite smartphone so far.
I am liking the pixel 5. The size is back to a manageable size that escaped from the XL sized phones generation which started a few years ago. The phone is fluid through out except for when it comes to multi tasking with multiple opened apps, then you have to get a little use to the new functionality of toggling between apps and using the back/forward swipe function. Picture quality is definitely great. Overall I love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have always been with Samsung line of devices and I was looking for something different. The Pixel 5 is a great device! The call screen feature is awesome for stopping robocalls and telemarketers. Battery stays strong all day. I love that the Android updates are always available first on this device. I really studied all the reviews on this device before purchasing. The call screen feature really sold me. Camera is great as well. I don't have anything negative to say about this device. I came from Samsung S10 plus. Try this device out! It's great.
I decided to purchase the Pixel 5, due to the long standing quality of Google Pixel phones and the commitment to provide at least 3 years of updates. The phone seems to be solidly built. Many have complained about a gap between the case and the screen but the phone I received did not have that issue. Several have complained about the sound from the phone. Yes the phone has a different sound to it due to the one speaker being behind the screen. That being said the phone can get to a decent volume and has decent sound. If I want high quality sound I am not going to play it though any phone as I would connect the phone to a bluetooth speaker or headphones. The screen quality is amazing and so are cameras. With the deal ATT was offering to long standing customers vs just new customers for this phone you cannot go wrong getting it. Word of caution - be sure you turn off your RCS Advanced Messaging on your phone before changing sim cards or you will have a nightmare of a time trying to get it started again on your new phone.
The size and finish of the back of the phone make holding it without a case feel more comfortable. The camera is top of the line. I like the clean full google experience without manufacturer bloatware.
My husband's phone was up for replacement and we evaluated a number of reviews of phones before choosing the Pixel 5. He's had it now for a couple of weeks and has been very pleased with it! Good battery life, smaller than his previous Samsung Note, but not in a bad way. (About the same size as my iPhone 8.)
