We bought our first Cuisinart Wine Cellar and approx 1 week later it stopped working altogether. All troubleshooting completed to no avail. Contacted Crate & Barrel as the point of purchase, who sent a return label and immediately sent a replacement item. Approx 3 days after delivery that also stopped working. We brought it to Crate and Barrel brick & mortar for a full refund, and would not recommend this product to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this new as a wedding gift to ourselves, but unfortunately it died seven months later. No indications that anything was wrong, it was roomy and quiet, and kept temperature really well, but one day it was just dead. I tried multiple outlets in the house, and there was nothing out of the ordinary on the back of the unit...it was just dead.
Luckily customer service was really good, they were responsive and made everything really easy. I had a feeling that they received a lot of these issues as they didn't try to diagnose anything, instead, they instantly granted us a replacement. Unfortunately though, the unit was on back order. It was the height of summer, and our wine was sweltering, so we ended up purchasing a unit from another brand. It would have been nice to get a refund instead, but in the end it worked out. I really wish the unit was of better quality because it seemed really nice, and worked great for the short time we had it. But I wouldn't recommend it.
