Excellent, quality appliance! Love the clear glass. You can easily view water level and amount of boil. Fast water boil. Love the cable stowaway under the plate. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

We like Cuisinart products generally for high quality and reasonable (not lowest) price. The kettle heats water quickly and has an automatic shutoff once the water has been boiling for a little while. The clear glass container is visually better than a metal container. The only negative is that there is that the top is opened by a latching mechanism on the top lip rather than by a thumb tab on the handle fF(which we had on a previous non-Cuisnart kettle). It took a little getting used to but now the Cuisinart latching mechanism is fine and probably a little safer than the thumb tab.
