Love it for having hot tea; it’s so cool that the on/off lever lights up and then shuts off automatically when the water is boiled. It’s very easy to clean, as opposed to a whistling teapot.
I would recommend that one be careful when closing down the lid so one does not get one’s finger pinched.
It’s great for a good hot cup of tea or for whatever you need hot water. I use it every day.

No matter how many times I boiled water it had a plastic taste I could not get rid of. Also, the bottom of the kettle was stained with less than 10 uses. This was a miss for me.

This kettle heats water quickly and shuts off automatically when the water boils. The clear glass makes it easy to see how much water is in the kettle. I like the stainless steel base which makes it coordinate with my other kitchen appliances. However, I was surprised that the plastic lid and handle are dark gray rather than black, which would have matched my Cusinart coffee maker better. The difference in color was not worth the trouble of returning it, and because I use the kettle so frequently, I decided to keep it. I am very pleased with this purchase.

People told me about these electric kettles and how useful they were, but I didn't see the point of another appliance just to boil water. Until I got this one. It's so handy and makes so many things easier. And it's easy to use, stylish looking on the counter and very well constructed. I love it!
