What happened

I plugged my phone in to charge and when i went to turn it on it looked like blue paint on the corner the size of a pea, as the day progressed the blue consumed the screen. It took three days for it to be consumed. I have video of me putting it to charge and then turning on the phone. I only looked at the video because i assumed that someone dropped or put something on it but that was not the case. I only had it for not even the week. I brought it in and they did not believe me that it was not damaged. i got charged the insurance deductible but i believe that was very unfair. this is my third pixel
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this phone, just had it less than a month still learning about it, but so far I have nothing bad to say about it. I know other people would prefer wireless headsets, but I'm kinda old-school and l appreciate the trouble-free 3.5mm Jack that comes with this phone. Thanks Google for being so thoughtful.

Pretty Good Phone

Overall it's been a pretty good phone. I was looking to replace my damaged Pixel 4XL. The phone overall is pretty good with battery life and i did miss the headphone jack, and don't feel I'm missing too much in terms of capabilities. The screen feels a little sluggish compared to the 4XL, but i find the audio is much better on the pixel 4a. Battery life is pretty good too. Overall I think it's about same if not a little worse than the 4XL.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this phone,my job has always pushed Samsung notes for our sales phone thing i hate it cause all bloatware.was using motorola one zoom as personal phone cause pretty close to pure android and love the moto app to turn the flashlight and camera with the twist of a hand but no wifi calling on att make me look for another direction.my only option on unlocked phone was pixel and Samsung, this why i jump to pixel and honestly i dont know why i didn't try long time ago.now ready to get the 5a5g for my wife and get rid of the motorola x4.i bought it new on ebay, hopefully this not a problem with warranty in case i need

It's perfect for the price easy to use and always been a huge fan of the Pixel series this has been my 4th Pixel since the first one came out like getting new Pixel every year
