Switched from being an LG fan to Pixel

Love my new Pixel. Some things that I don't like (no back button - only gestures), and a few other tiny things, but the benefits and additional functions and features that Google doesn't really advertise make the phone way better. Like the call screening alone has saved me so much time and hassle for my business since I don't have to deal with robocallers. Every Android user should have this phone. No bloatware makes the phone fast, even if you've got a lot of stuff on it like I do. I will be getting Google phones now and into the future. It just makes sense.

The Pixel 4a is a decent device but it a little underpowered for my daily use. It behaves similar to my Pixel 2xl in some applications. A little sluggish at time, but some games show more/higher quality content at times with the 4a. Good phone for someone moving to a Pixel, but I expected more.

I really enjoy my new Pixel phone, it does so much and there's so much more to learn about what is can do. The only thing right now is that I'm not a fan of it's calendar.

Weird Short Cuts

For some reason by going from the Pixel 2 to the Pixel 4 has meant I can no longer call businesses directly from Google Maps. Instead it copies the phone number and makes me tab over to my phone app and paste the number in. It also dropped the back button and instead interprets scrolling to the left as wanting to tab backwards. Very frustrating to use several apps now including the app store and Kindle reader. The keyboard offers less tactile feedback as well and that was one of my favorite aspects of the Pixel 2.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing beats this phone and Google Fi! The battery, camera and call quality are all excellent, and no more robo calls!

I am more than happy with this phone! Had the original Pixel XL and I went back after having another brand. The plusses: size - I like the smaller size. Camera: main reason I bought my older model and this one continues to impress. Reception:. I was in several fringe areas with a friend with a different brand phone - one getting good buzz. We are both on the same provider/plan, but I was getting reception when they weren't. The only minus - and it's not a big deal, as I understand there is an inexpensive item that can solve it is: lack of cordless charging. That minus is the only reason I didn't give a full 5 Stars - almost did anyway. I do strongly recommend this phone!
