Great phone

This phone is physically the size as my pixel XL with a bigger screen.. I love it.

I like it but...

I got the Google 4a 5G based off of the suggestions and recommendations of a buddy of mine who is really into tech. I really enjoy the phone it's smooth and operates very fast. However, when I FaceTime with my family using Duo my phone tends to overheat while it's in the case and a couple times while it is not in the case I don't know if this is specific to my phone or 4a issue in general
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Phone For Most

I just can't find anything wrong with this phone. The 765g chipset has proven it's solid performance in this phone as well as the Pixel 5. The battery lasts well over a day with heavy use. The photos come out gorgeous as you would expect from a Pixel. The screen is vibrant and sharp, as well as, responsive and accurate. This phone will do everything for most people. Paying at least twice as much for a high-end flagship no longer makes sense now that Google has released the 4a 5g. I love this phone. And, that's how I feel about that.

My phone doesn't ring. Ever. It also overheats and reboots itself randomly, and sometimes several times in a week. As I was coming to the realization that I was missing calls only when I had my ringer turned on (as opposed to on vibrate), I dropped the phone and cracked the screen, so now my warranty is null and void and I'm stuck with this disappointing new phone. The camera is truly great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK in a pinch, but no superstar

I got this phone for the benefits at the pricepoint; good camera, 5G, nice storage. But it's not the best phone I've ever had, which is discouraging since I like my new devices to be exciting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great new phone! Upgraded my 4 yr old device to this one and the responsiveness is amazing.One grip is it can't access my phonak hearing aid. Seems I need a different hearing aid to do so.The bottom dragging to close apps can get a little frustrating as well.All in all I recommend the phone.

Good "clean" phone

It's great to have a phone that doesn't have any apps preloaded that are tied to the manufacturer of the phone. This is a Google phone with a Google operating system and Google apps. They all work great and the phone seems fast and has enough memory to run everything I need and room for video data that I will be shooting. With the camera automatically backing up to Google Photos, I have seemingly endless room.
I would recommend this to a friend!
