Fragile

I had to upgrade from my 3a xl to the 4a 5g due to my phone getting broken at work I had that 3a for years and the most it ever got was very minor damage you could only see under certain light however my first day of having the 4a 5g it fell off my nightstand which is only about 3 feet from the floor it completely shattered the screen by far more fragile than the 3a without really any changes to the phone itself would rather have a 3a even if it was slower
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My last Phone was a mid range Samsung phone. Have been using my new Pixel 4a5g for about 2 weeks now, and it blows my old phone AWAY !! So happy I made the switch. And google Customer service is world class. Absolutely recommend !

I'm extremely pro-Google, so I am sad to say that this new phone has been very frustrating to use so far. I've only had it a week, so maybe I will get better at using it. I did not have a similar learning phase on my earlier pixels. Some apps appear to be missing menus and navigation, making them very hard to use. I have to close and relaunch in order to get back to the main menu. General navigation between apps is clumsy and I often have to retry. Gestures from the bottom and from the sides are finicky.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good mid-range phone

has a solid battery life, I’m not a big camera user but it takes really good pictures with tons of features , great performance, and clean interface . These features, combined with an competitive price it makes the pixel an overall great buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Enjoying the new phone

I replaced a 4 year old LG phone, and the Pixel is a joy. It is super fast. It takes photos in very little light. It has the 5G, so it is ready for the future. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the screen and camera resolutions are lower than my old phone, and at this price, I expected a longer telephoto lens as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
