Good phone and software

I like the phone , software and camera! The display is terrible since coming from Samsung. The text font is entirely too small even at its largest setting of display and text! Especially someone with my vision is getting worse. Even with glasses its too small! No way to make it bigger! Not for me! I'm returning the pixel 4a 5g! Call quality it great also!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was hoping for more

I have the Google pixel 4 I had no issues with it until I did. It went completely black and white without any ability to correct it. The Google pixel 4A does not hold a very good battery charge. The Google pixel 4A also does not automatically charge in my vehicle like my Google pixel 4 did by placing it on the charging pad station. At this time everything else seems to be pretty compatible it does have more memory which is why I assume the battery life drains a little faster. I did not get a refurbished phone I did get a brand new one. All I have to say is that I'm glad I have warranty we will see.

Great but.....

This phone should have an SD card slot. Every phone should have an SD card slot. I have a whole SD card from my old phone that I cannot use now and I hate feeling like it was a waste of money. However, the phone is fast and smooth and responsive. Was the best choice in it's price range.

Difficult to Use

Phone is unlike any phone I have owned. The only feature I like is the speed in which I was able to transfer apps and data. I would have been better off buying a refurbished Galaxy S20.

Pixel 4a 5G - Budget Friendly and It Just Works

I've always love pure stock Android as I come from a line of Nexus devices. The Pixel 4a 5G is no different.Despite not having all the bells and whistles (glass back, wireless charging, 1440p display, water resistance certification, triple or quad lens cameras, etc.) this device just works for the average consumer. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor is of great help with the battery life while consistently on a 5G signal. On normal usage, the battery can even last up to 2 days! The best part of of it are the cameras and speedy software updates and security pstches. The cameras almost always take great photos. Timely updates are very helpful.So if you want a device that's reasonably priced and just works, get this one for sure. It'll last you at least 3 years as Google guarantees it to be updated and upgraded with the latest OS for that long.Funny thing is that I still use older Nexus devices from time to time with Custom ROM. And I intend to keep the Pixels the same way.

I ending buying the 4a 5g instead of the P5 . So far is been great no issues with battery or any lag on games
