Pixel is from the future

This phone met all of my expectations and exceeded them! It is extremely snappy I use my phone for work and this one has certainly increased my productivity. I'm absolutely happy with my purchase. Thanks Google. Sweet phone!

This is almost exactly what I wanted.

My previous two phones were a Nexus 5 and a Moto x4. I bought this phone for the same reason I bought the two previous phones and that's because I wanted a lot of functionality without paying for a premium flagship phone. So far, I am very happy with my choice. I only wish I could put a sd card in it. My wife likes hers, too.

Best bang for the buck

Depends on what you want or need in a cellular phone. As for me, it does everything I need and want. I just upgraded from a pixel 2 which has served me well and reliably. As a matter of fact, the pixel 2 is still in as new condition. I only upgraded simply because the 2 no longer receives updates.

Battery life, speed

Good response times on apps and much improved battery life. I waited too long with a dying battery. The notification options are too numerous and not intuitive how to disable the ones that wake me up at night. Ring volume should be on top. Just annoying to have media always be default when it's the phone that I want to shut up quickly. Camera has poor resolution in medium light and detail is lost easily. Camera zoom is pretty useless, for simple reason the lens is static. Focus, however, is more responsive than retired S7. Photo and video capture does not compensate for backlit subjects, except occasionally it does. Probably this is a setting that I haven't found. Often, Duo and Zoom have indiscernible faces against light (and even neutral) backgrounds. I see others' conference calls with bright and clear faces against white backgrounds, but they are the exception.

Great phone, just one thing missing

Love this phone. It's fast, reliable, great camera. The only thing holding it back is wireless charging. Put that in the pixel a series and you'll have a home run.

I'm a Pixel fanatic

I started off with a Pixel 3a XL and eventually switched to a different brand top tier phone. I had that other phone for about 4 months and came back to the Pixel 4 (5G). I'm thrilled with it and won't be leaving Pixel again.
