I'm coming from a S20 Ultra and by far this pixel 4a 5g makes me question why premium phones are even a thing. It does everything you need and more. Yes it might not have wireless charging or a 90 hz refresh but that's just luxury related stuff that isn't needed unless you want more premium features. It has all the essential things you need at a fraction of the cost of other phones. Will definitely start going Team Pixel from here on out. Thanks for such a great experience google!

I would have given 5 stars but there are a couple things I'm having a little difficulty figuring out. Like I have my phone set to notify me when I have a voicemail, but it's not and the voicemail is hard to access. A couple other little things that I'm sure I'll figure out as I get to know my phone better, and the vibrate is a little loud. Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good: - Camera- Battery life- Call screening feature- 5G is way faster then 4G LTE in my area-Aux portBad: - No back button...I don't like swiping left or right from an edge to go back. It's way too easy to accidentally go back when trying to zoom around on a pic or webpage!- Fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone- Although it has a slightly faster CPU and more ram then my old phone it actually feels slightly slower occasionally lagging- really miss my old phone's feature that would turn it the flashlight on if you shook the phone left to rightIf I was buying today I'd prolly try the samsung A52 5G instead

I wish google would put double tap to turn screen off like LG has. And a photo file lock like LG has. So we can have certain photos that can't be seen without unlocking.

Never had a problem with my Google Pixel 3.This one gave me a G updating screen for days.After getting no help from support, I had to do a factory reset.Then, it happened a second time. I've had it for four months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good upgrade

The pixel 4a 5G is a big improvement over an aging galaxy 7. The battery life seems to be very decent.
