An excellent upgrade!

We recently replaced a beloved Frigidaire, vintage 1948, with this bottom freezer GE. We loved the old refrigerator and used it for 40+ years but the small inconveniences, (no light, no defrost, no functional freezer, no bins) gradually overcame our love. This tall skinny bottom freezer fridge has filled our needs well, since we had to be able to fit the new unit in to a very specific space. So far, it has worked flawlessly and we are very happy with it. Many people might think it is small but since it is larger than what we had, we are happy with it. But I will be very surprised if the new GE is still working in 73 years.

Perfect for studio apartment

Despite it’s small appearance, this refrigerator has great storage capacity. It’s simple and sleek in design. I had hoped that the flex drawer was the middle drawer but it is actually inside the upper portion. I also wish it had an ice maker. Otherwise, it’s great.

We’ve had the fridge for only a few weeks, but so far it has been great. Layout is great and I love the pull out drawers in the freezer.

Great fridge!

This is a great fridge for an apartment in NYC. It's tall and doesn't take up too much space. I really like that the freezer is down at the bottom and that there are 2 drawers where you can easily tell what you have in stock compare to the conventional fridge where things can get lost with the freezer being on top. Due to it's size I'm more mindful when it comes to purchasing groceries as it is smaller. They're features that I appreciate with this fridge when it comes to the shelves as well. Overall I am happy with this purchase. Yes it is more pricey compared to other fridges out there but if you don't have a big kitchen then this frigde is for you.

I truly love my new GE refrigerator! It is sleek, extremely quiet & keeps my food fresh. I have waited to buy this refrigerator for awhile, it was on back order & let me tell you, it was worth the wait. My produce stays fresh for weeks & my frozen items stay super cold! Ice cream tastes amazing! It has the right amount of space for it to be so small. Whoever came up with this design did an awesome job. I can’t say enough good things about my fridge.
