Great Sound

The Dolby Atmos delivers a new sense of overhead dimension and the 3.1 has the ability to provide true voice clarity. The wireless subwoofer has a very deeply and an amazing bass. It has the ability to work with different devices we use it on our TV but it has the ability to work on DVD players. Installation was easy and results very nicr

Powerful Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips 3.1 Dolby Atmos Performance Sound Bar Speaker is AMAZING. You have cinematic sound from the comfort of your home. It brings movies and television shows to a whole new level. It was very easy to set up and hook up to the television . The only draw back is that I now have another remote to keep up with. I would definitely recommend this sound bar. It also has Bluetooth connectivity so you can stream your favorite music.

Awesome Sound System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my Philips Atmos performance sound bar and subwoofer. The system is really easy to set up, takes minutes really. There are a number of ways in which to connect to your TV, I chose the auxiliary as a preference as I already had other HDMI inputs. The sound quality is amazing, the combination of the bar positioned directly below the TV then offsetting the subwoofer by a few feet creates cinema like sound in my living room. Perfect for watching movies and enhancing the experience of watching sports. The look of the components are simple and clean which I appreciate. The subwoofer is a decent size but not too big or heavy. I am really happy with this product.

Better than anticipated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself as a novice audiophile - sound is important to me. So I unboxed this soundbar with some skepticism. I started with music, and I started to appreciate the soundbar more and more with each new track. Very clear audio, and the sub did a decent job. Then I switched to a movie (Endgame, if you have to know), and while nothing could replace a full home theater with a full size subwoofer, I can say that this soundbar put out crystal clear sound. "Atmos" was as surround sound as a soundbar can get. A significant upgrade to TV speakers, the remote was easy to navigate, setup was a breeze. Are there better ones? Probably, for sure. Are there worse ones? Absolutely. I owned one before this one. If you are looking an audio upgrade from your TV, and something to pump some tunes through, this would match your search.

Crystal Clear Audio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently upgraded our bedroom TV to one that supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, so it was only natural to match it with a sound bar that supports Dolby Atmos. Watching content with Dolby Atmos, you immediately notice the increased volume of the soundstage - not how loud it is, but how BIG it is. With our old sound bar, you could tell the sound was coming from right under the TV, but with this sound bar, it sounds like the entire wall is generating the sound. Where this sound bar truly shines is handling dialogue - it is crystal clear and you don't have to turn up the volume to hear what is being said.
Setup was simple - just plug in an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the TV and position the wireless sub, and you are good to go. The remote is great, with well-positioned buttons and a grippy texture and heft that feels premium. Along with all of this a nice overall design.
As with most wireless subs, don't expect room shaking bass. It's certainly good for typical movie watching, but it would be nice to have a bit more impact during action scenes.

Very impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sounds, these sound bars are very impressive with the quality of sound that they put out. The hook up was very straight forward and easy to get running with the included HDMI cable. The Atmos does truly give you a surround sound experience the sounds fill the room like its all round you great sound, having a wireless base speaker let me put it anywhere I wanted without running a lot of wires, the base speaker puts out a rich base and gives you a nice movie experience. Very happy with the quality of the construction of the speakers they are built well and have a nice look. Another great option its Bluetooth playing streaming music true them sounds nice. Overall very happy

Absolutely great sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality on this set is absolutely mind blowing! It’s hard to distinguish it’s only 3.1 surround since it sounds like 5.1. I think the Atmos makes it sound great and adds surreal amount of depth. I love the wireless subwoofers! They thump well enough for our large masters bedroom. I really like how it has multiple input options with ARC and Bluetooth. It was so easy to setup and connect several of my devices. I very highly recommend this set.

Good speakers / sub woofer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instead of installing another TV in a spare bedroom and for the patio, we acquired one and used it with a rolling TV cart suitable for a 50+". This made it very easy for us to move the TV where ever we need it. Adding the Philips 3.1 Ch. Dolby Atmos® Performance Sound Bar Speaker with Wireless Subwoofer on the set up made our viewing experience much much better. With the Philips sound bar speaker on our new 'portable" tv set up, we also gained a portable sound system with the wireless pairing via Bluetooth for our smart devices. The quality and make and design of the sound bar system is really good. Very satisfied with the quality of the sound produced. The set up was very easy. The size of the subwoofer was perfect for our portable set up.
