Arrived on time. I am a vivid ThinkPad user for long time... they are working flawlessly even after 5 years. Ofcourse, with the use of resource savvy OSs and application, they became slow and I wanted a sleek one. It worked out of the box with minimal configuration settings which can be done by even first Computer user.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched for some time price benefits for i7, 16GB, 500 GB SSD HD and this one has the best characteristics for price. I have a T490S for work. I like that the T490 has a full ethernet port, no need for adapters and that the memory can be removed. On the negative it does not have a touch screen which I do not use much but was nice to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about it except several times it wouldnt turn on. researched it & it said to hold the power buttion down 20 seconds & then try to start it again. That seemed to work. I dont think these problems should happen just 1 week after starting to use it.

At first, there are a lot of updates and messages that you’ll need read through. Take the time to personalize your notification settings. The touchpad is sensitive and may take some getting use to.
