[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Lenovo T490 laptop. I have good specs with an i7 processor and 16gb ram and later I can add an additional 32gb if I want. The computer has an 512gb MVNe M.2 hard drive that can be upgraded to two terabytes if needed. So it is setup for longer use case. The finger print reader and IR camera are great for windows hello.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a PhD student and do a lot of data analysis and computer modelling including visualization. My old laptop (age 4) was struggling to keep up and the T490 was recommended by a fellow student as a good laptop for a reasonable price. The price then became even more reasonable (~50% off) for my specific model. Stats below. I haven't put it through any serious testing yet but it's been excellent so far. Runs quickly, battery lasts all day with the saver turned on, lightweight, great colour display with low glare. I only wish I had a touch screen display, but that wasn't included in the sale and not worth paying 2x as much.
