[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely the best laptop I've had so far. I've only had three others so the bar isn't high. I get a product and I try to keep it as long as possible. My last laptop didn't last as long as the first two. So I set about looking for a laptop or brand that was known for making something that's built well and built to last. I came across ThinkPad. It has everything-I cross shopped it with the Surface Book 3 and Surface Laptop 3-and this came out on top. It's got parts you can swap or change, thunderbolt port, etc. I also appreciated it's construction, as I've got a nasty allergy to the nickel and cobalt sometimes found in electronic devices. So this laptop having a very different construction and paint job has also benefited me. Although, I wish it were easier to keep clean!

The only downside is that, because of the new dock style, I had to also upgrade my dock but that was really the worst part. Lenovo makes things easy by keeping things consistent. The keyboard layout and feel, the footprint of the laptop, all consistent. Really easy transition so far.
