[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked my old Lenovo ThinkPad, but I LOVE my new one. The old one was five years old and running Windows 7, which is now obsolete. So, I upgraded to a new ThinkPad T490. WOW! I am bowled over by the new features. The touchscreen is amazing. Speed is so much better. Ability to interface with other devices is fantastic. I am more than happy with my purchase. I am ecstatic!!!!

It has all the qualities of the previous generations (durability, great keyboard, great touchpad) plus it is very thin and light. The layout is very well thought out. Battery life is excellent, 10 or more hours even though I use it for fairly heavy computational tasks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the computer works well. The software won’t let me set up my Mail in the mail tab. It forces you to change your passwords. So I had to go through Google to create shortcuts to get to my Mail accounts. The setup was a bit challenging as well.
