She is an artist and the WQHD display works very well for her ... we are somewhat concerned about glare with the glossy display, but we have been able to work around any glare issues by controlling the surrounding lighting. She also loves how portable it is. The battery life with the WQHD display isn't great, but fortunately she almost always runs with it plugged in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was torn between the T490 and the Carbon X, but glad I went with the T490 - lightweight, fast processor that does everything I need it to do, and has the super functional keyboard that I've always loved on past models of the T series.
