Makes is very easy to see, even working in the passenger seat of a car on a sunny day. The T490 is also fast compared with previous laptops I have used in the past. It boots up instantly!

The touch screen is great when scrolling through documents on the go. All in all a great laptop. I use it with the Lenonvo ultra docking station and it's so easy to transition to a full 3 monitor work station.

I really like this laptop, and maybe the keyboard switches aren't really for me, but I plan on returning it because of one flaw that makes it a complete write-off for me. The front edge of the palm rest is incredibly sharp, and not only does it feel like it scrapes my wrists when I type on it, but resting my palms on it for too long leaves marks on my wrists and wrist pain. Everything else is great, but I just can't rationalize spending this much money on a laptop that causes me physical pain to use the keyboard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
