[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Lenovo Thinkpad that I had been issued for work, and I liked it so much I ordered one for personal use. It's a workhorse. Best laptop I ever owned.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad T490 is working just fine for me. I have enjoyed the ThinkPad T Series for decades. Only thing I don't like is that the hardware tends to last way beyond it's usefulness and I have a hard time replacing anything that isn't broken. I have dealt with many other brands and not a single one holds up like a ThinkPad T Series. I have know doubt this one will outlast me, "And it has an Ethernet port" so I can work on my routers at home (I use a router for a router and an access point for an access point and a switch for a switch, this makes it much faster and reliable to cover 3 building and 3.5 acres). It asks how how I primarily us this but doesn't offer me a correct choice. I am disabled but try to keep my mind active by doing some of the same work I did as a Systems Engineer when I worked.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 15 of these for deployment to workforce. Solid specs, adaptable design for today's world that's somewhere inbetween USB 3 and USB C and inbetween wireless and wired networks. Out of the 15, two had issues when updating firmware using Lenovo's Vantage program, causing me to have to do some manual workarounds, hence the missing 5th star.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lenovo laptop is sleek, lightweight, compact, and has a large enough keyboard with incredibly texturally appealing keys to accommodate my large hands. I'm able to log on smoothly and quickly and the camera quality is good as well, making it ideal for Zoom meetings and videos. It is also affordable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this laptop seems to be really good. My only issue is that, so far, within the 2 weeks that I have been using the laptop, there has been 2 instances where I plug in the charger, but the charging icon does not show up and the system appears to be not charging. The issue got resolved both of the times by just restarting the system. I may have to check on it if it keeps on happening again.
