Though this is not a long term usage review, it might be useful to some buyers. I have used the T490 laptop for about a couple of weeks now. Some of the things I want to highlight:
Pros:
- Performance wise it's quite fast
- Strong built quality
- Decent battery life
- No strain on eyes
- And many other good features which you could find easily on internet.

Though there is no specific turnoff for me, I want to mention that some features could have been better:
- it could have been slightly lighter
- Some people will take time to get used to the touchpad (combined with the buttons)

I have not checked any other aspect of the laptop, as I use it for official work only. Overall, I did not find any major flaw till now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this laptop however, the trackpad need some improvement. It doesn't feel as nice some other laptops (i.e.the macbooks) and it makes a sound as you run your finger across it. I believe it needs to feel smoother. I do like the keyboard though and the large shift key.
