[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's only been a week but so far I'm very impressed. I've been using ThinkPads for over 20 years. This replaced my aging T420 which lasted longer than most laptops and still works, just outdated and sluggish. In comparison, the T490 is lightweight, thin, FAST, and while I thought I'd miss my old beloved keyboard, this one is great (other than adapting to some key position changes). ThinkPads have always had great keyboards and, as a writer, that's critical. This is no different.
