Under heavy use could bet noisy and worm, but nothing serious, it's plastic after all.Fingerprint scanner is extremely good feature to have!

I decided to go with something a little more lightweight this time, and I'm so glad I went with the T490. The price CANNOT be beat considering the high quality of the laptop. It's fast! I'm able to do all of my coding on it and have multiple apps open at the same time. And I love the built-in camera cover.
