So far I am really happy with mobility with this device. LTE is game changer for developers on the go. There is enough power even with i5 configuration for JVM development in Intellij IDEA and battery life is also amazing for this sort of work. Smart card reader is also excellent for working in corporates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new T490. It's everything I expect from a computer designed to help me get work done. I love the feel of the keyboard.
The design is starting to look a little bit dated, and I'm not sure anyone uses the signature joy-stick on these things anymore. But so far, it feels pretty close to my last Macbooks from work, and costs a lot less.

I absolutely love this laptop. I bought it for basic personal use including live music recording through a digital audio interface and it has not disappointed. It's both fast and lightweight. The mousepad is probably the best I've ever had in a laptop and I've been working for software companies for many years and have had many company laptops. The touch screen feature is a nice add-on although I haven't used it much.
