It lacked the ability to have data flows through the usb-c port, it being limited to power only. This is a major defect and means that I cannot use this product, but can't return as I threw out boxes.

No more 4K HiDPI through HDMI since Mac OS Ventura

I love the form factor of the StayGo and use it both on the go as in the studio. However, since I've upgraded to Mac OS Ventura, the HDMI port does no longer support HiDPI on 4K. I've been in contact with customer support and the problem was acknowledged to be a known issue. Unfortunately, half a year later, it seems no solution has been found for this issue yet. Since I'm a MacBook Air M1 user, it means I can't use the StayGo and a Thunderbolt 3 SSD while also using a USB-C cable. So it this affects the user experience for video editing quite a bit.

The hub worked perfectly. I appreciate the length of teh cable for destop use. I repalced a hub from another brand which had an attached cabe that was too short.

I've owned a few hubs over the last few years and this has to be the best one. It had exactly the ports I needed and even one I'd never thought to look for: the USB-C PD port, which means all I have to connect is the one cord from the hub to my devices. The USB-C cord tucked away is super practical, too. Love it.

It didn’t work. I hoped it would. The plug fit in usb-c ports but no connection occurred with the external hard drives so they would work. I need to return the unit.
