[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter immediately fell in love with Echo Dot. We played a few games. The light at the bottom looks beautiful. The speakers are loud and clear. My daughter asked it to play a song and Alexa was singing along with. It was lots of fun. The shape of the device is stunning and looks really beautiful sitting on the side table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The echo dot is a solid device. It is very limited compared to some of the other Amazon devices I have gotten in the past. It picks up your voice well and does not take up a whole lot of space so that is a good quality.

Best Echo Dot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really loving the cool new modern design. We do still have lots of other dots all over our home. My daughter likes to boss Alexa around telling her to turn on the lights and set alarms. We like to have more than one in a room to play music and get a nice stereo sound. This 4th gen has great sound. There is such a multitude of things this can be used for. I haven't begun to figure it all out. I do like that we can turn lights on and off when we are away from home for security. My daughter also gets a kick out of "dropping in" on other rooms. Now if I can just get Alexa to do the dishes.

It's set our alarms for us .actually it does alot for us. It's small and fits perfectly sitting anywhere . This is the best thing to come into my family's life. It has crystal clear souns and it's a must to have one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an Amazon Echo/Alexa user for several years and am amazed at the functionality of the Echo products and Alexa. From the ability to stream media services, receive news, set up home automation, timers/alarms, the list goes on... Alexa is the way to go. I particularly appreciate the home automation. Most of my house is now voice controlled. From thermostat settings, lights, door locks to custom routines, I can control pretty much any aspect of my home with a simple voice command. Setup with Amazon's Smart plugs and switches is simple and hassle free through the Alexa app, there's no fiddling with settings in third party app or special Wi-Fi configuration.
The sound quality on the Echo devices I own is good but after trying the new Echo DOT 4th generation, I am blown away! the fullness, crispness and clarity of my streamed music is incredible! I absolutely did not expect such sound quality out of a small Smart Speaker. If you're an audiophile and looking for a Smart Speaker, the Amazon Echo Dot 4th Generation is definitely worth your consideration.

When I wake up I can ask Alexa what the weather is so air know how to dress for the day. The design of the dot is so trendy it looks great anywhere in my house. I honestly feel spoiled having it around. Simply amazing!
