Unique Toaster Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Americana by Elite 6 Slice/26L Retro Toaster Oven Blue is truly unique based on the vintage look and that you can broil food in it. I love that there are indicators that let you know what level you should put the food in that you are toasting or broiling. Another unique feature is that the instruction manual has oven recipes that fit perfect when you are broiling food. Overall I love this Americana Elite 6 Slice/26L Retro Toaster Oven and highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this toaster oven is retro, but its features and functionality are modern. The controls allow for baking, broiling, or toasting which has enabled me to cook a wide variety of foods without having to heat up my full size oven. I am most impressed with the rubber bumps on the back which protect the wall from making contact with the oven. Here are the pros and cons that I found:

The timer knob sticks at the 40 minute mark and also at the toast range

One word of advice ... as with any oven, this unit creates a great deal of smoke when you plug it in for the first time. So, I would suggest plugging it in outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new Americana by Elite 6 slice /26L Retro Toaster Oven in blue. This is a beautiful burst of blue in my counter. There's so much room inside it. I can cook for a crowd and we can all eat at the same time! The features are easy to use and it's easy to clean up. I don't care what my boyfriend says... It's staying on the counter!

Amazing oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this oven it is super easy to use and clean up a good thing about it is that it is portable since it's a mini oven one of the things i would have wanted it to have is like one more baking tray. I love how you can use the oven to like boil, toast, and bake. I loved using the oven to make chocolate chip cookies because i can adjust the amount of time for it to be on and it makes it easier for me. I also love how it comes with a tool to pull the tray out woth so we won't get burned. Im absolutely attached to this mini oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After an initial easy set-up, I was able to familiarize myself with the different functions and controls, enabling me to start experimenting with the toaster oven. The retro style is very appealing and it doesn't take up too much room in the kitchen which is surprising given the fact that so much is achievable with this one unit. The rack removal tool is a nice touch. I am always burning my hands when removing items from oven racks.
Being able to bake and toast is very useful. I have already baked a tray of cookies which took about 15 minutes to cook on a 325 deg F setting. I have also tried one of the recipes in the supplied booklet which was something called Jamaican Chicken. This required using the Broil function and took approximately one hour and thirty minutes to cook. Obviously, I have also made toast. In fact, I use the toaster oven to make my toast every single morning, and I like being able to control the exact shade of my toasted bread using the adjustable toasting control and timer. You can toast six slices of brad at a time, but I haven't had to use that feature yet. I don't think I have ever owned a toaster oven before that allows you to bake a 12" pizza, but this one has the capacity to do so.
I am impressed.

I use my Americana Toaster Oven for much more than just toast. One of my new favorites is fresh roasted garlic. Excellent little oven! Give one a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Americana by Elite 6 Slice/26L Retro Toaster Oven about 2 months ago and I love it! You can use this toaster oven to cook, bake, broil or toast and it is easy to clean up with removable wire racks and crumb pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Americana 6 Slice Capacity Retro Toaster Oven is perfect for our family. It is not overly big and fits nicely on a kitchen counter. All the Temperature Control Knobs were easy to read, informative as to their use, easy to turn and placed in perfect location. The glass door allows for peaking inside without opening the oven! I have cooked 6 slices of toast at one time and each were done perfectly according to the setting of the control knobs. Pizza cooked well without burning and tray underneath great for catching any drips and protecting the bottom of the oven.
Loved that multiple uses of being able to use for broiling all kinds of meats as well as baking main dishes to desserts to just keeping food warm till ready to serve.
The clean up of the oven, rack and tray was not difficult and did well after being rinsed in warm water and put through a dishwashing cycle.
We anticipate enjoying using this Toaster Oven frequently!
