Very difficult to access batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am supplied these batteries by the Veterans Administration. The child resistant packaging is very difficult open and extract the batteries. The plastic is just about impossible to cut with ordinary scissors. I used a small pair of wire cutters to breech the outer edge. It was still difficult to extract a battery. A huge fail on the packaging engineers. I guess I’m in the one percent who couldn’t figure this out in a minute!

My husband is legally blind and finds these are easy for him to use when replacing his batteries and says they definitely last longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought them about 3 months ago and I loved the package they came in it was small and easy to carry in my purse. I loved that they last this long.
It does exactly what a hearing aid battery is supposed to do.

The pull tabs are awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rayovac hearing aid battery has a pull tab that, next to the Duracell's, is the easiest to grasp. I judge these to be a good comprise between the number of the days the batteries last and the convenience of pull tab that is moderately easy to grasp.
It seems counter-intuitive that many brands of hearing aid batteries have tabs that may prove problematic for the elderly to grasp. The elderly, being the very demographic most likely to use hearing aids, often are the ones who may have the most physical or mental challenges associated with grasping small battery tabs. The Duracell folks have got the pull tab design that is the most convenient. However, I found that they last a full two days shorter than the batteries made by Rayovac.
I'm pleased with my recent purchase.

packaging is absolutely horrible

This is the worst packaging possible. I have "cut myself" twice from the packaging while trying to open them. I suggest that you get a sample group (older people) and have them try to get a battery when needed. Maybe you can change the packaging to something that is easy and safe.
