Convenient and easy-to-use steamer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Elite Gourmet 9 quart stainless steel, 3 tier food steamer. It is one of my best counter top kitchen appliances. I can steam many foods at once, chicken, seafood, veggies and more. Everything always comes out delicious. It's easy setup, easy cleanup, and easy storage. It's an appliance I would definitely recommend this product, I love it!!!

Works but not very sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do really like the way this works however the tier baskets are not very sturdy. More like cheap plastic as well as the cover for the water well. It does however work very well and is very easy to operate. It really is a toss up on liking or loving this but the materials make me worry that it won't be a long lasting kitchen tool. Overall 7/10 as it does work exactly as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Set Up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steamer is the coolest way to steam food. The three bowls stacking on top of each other makes it easy to cook multiple items at a time. You can cook you food that takes the least time on the bottom and the ones that take the longest at top. This is a great product!

Get healthy with a three tier streamer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have side effects from Chemo and Radiation treatments for breast cancer. I am told by my doctors to change my diet, eating steamed veggies and fish (especially salmon) I made such a mess using the stove/oven or microwave. With the steamer I have improved my family’s health with fresh vegetables and salmon all cooked perfectly in this steamer. So happy with this product.

My First New Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elite Gourmet 9-Quart Stainless Steel 3-Tier Food Steamer approximately 2 weeks ago. I never used a steamer before and I'm in love with this one. It comes with 3 tiers with an abundance of room for your meal. I took from the freezer the small corn on the cobs, broccoli and cauliflower and placed in each teir. It also comes with a rice bowl which I placed my rice with butter, salt and pepper. The tiers are numbered so you know the placement order of the tiers and has a lid for the top. The base has a water indicator and I filled with cold water as recommended. It comes with a short cord for safety and 60 minute timer and the instructions were easy to understand and follow. There is a drip pan also on the bottom and a steaming guide for just about anything you could think of. I placed my tiers on top and set the timer for 35 minutes while I prepared the table ect.. I have cooked in this steaming machine everyday since I received it, even fish. It keeps all the nutrients of the food and its taste. This is my new first love! I would recommend this steamer 100% and the clean up is a breeze!

It is very easy to set up and we love that there is 3 tiers to it so you are able to steam more than item at a time. Each time we have used it our food has come out perfectly. It doesn't take long either which is a plus when cooking for a hungry family. It's really easy to clean and isn't a pain in the butt to store.

Easy option for health and time saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good steamer! Love that it has three levels so you can cook as many veggies as you want. I am never hard boiling eggs again - steaming is the way to go. So much easier and the eggs peel really easy. The levels are just resting on each other and are not attached but it does a great job in cooking and is a huge time saver.
It does not take up a lot of space. This is 90% plastic, the ring/stackers may get mis-shapen from heat and everything once in place is not exactly air tight.
Two things we didn't liked: their booklet says brown rice or rice takes 35-40 minutes, but after 45 minutes, my rice was still really crunchy. I cooked their recommended proportions in the rice tray: 1 cup of rice and 1-1/2 cups water. The rice was still floating in water and was too raw to eat. I cooked it another 20 minutes, which improved it somewhat, but it was still not edible. Definitely not made to cook rice.
Another thing is the wire is very small.
