Beautiful design and great for making coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle is elegant, beautiful, and fits in with almost any decor. One of my favorite features of this kettle is how you can conveniently hide the cord on the bottom. This allows you to connect your kettle without having an unnecessary amount of cord in the way. I am very pleased with how quickly it heats up water for my coffee and was surprised by the cool touch exterior. It’s a great safety feature to prevent burns.

It boils water!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle does what it's supposed to do. It heats liquid (in my case water) well and shuts off once boiling has occurred. There are a few things about the kettle that should be noted.
The white color is more of an off white. I'd describe it as closer to ivory than bright white. The "on" switch has a blue LED light that isn't necessary, but serves as a nice amenity in low lighting scenarios. I found it to be helpful when making tea early in the morning. You can leave your kitchen lights off and see the kettle is brewing. That said, you can also hear it brewing.
There's a small diamond shaped acrylic topper on the handle which isn't what I was expecting. It's not my style, but if it's yours then perhaps this is a bonus. The kettle lid relies on this topper as a handle for removal of the lid. The kettle handle sits directly over the topper and it makes removal of the lid difficult. This design is ergonomically functional for pouring and feels balanced, but the curved handle slightly blocks removal of the lid. That can make things a little difficult when the kettle is still warm.
The base is lightweight. It is designed with a cord storage space on the bottom which helps to cut the cord clutter. However, the base is lightweight and doesn't feel nearly as substantial as the kettle. My base actually looks to have some separation occurring at a material seam.
Overall it does what it's supposed to do and at this price point it's a solid purchase, but I don't see it having as long a life span as some other products on the market that sell for a higher price point.

This Kettle is AMAZING!!!

It heated my water to boiling in mere minutes and the outside really did stay cool to the touch. When the top opens it is firm so it feels like a quality build. The kettle does what it says, the sides stay cool and will not burn when touched. I think you will fall in love with the Elite Platinum 1.2L Cool-Touch Stainless Steel Electric Kettle!

Until I found the Elite Platinum 1.2L Cool-Touch Stainless Steel Electric Kettle, White. It is attractive, it has an on/off switch for speed and an automatic shut-off. I love the way it has a power cord storage, while it remains cord-free when you serve. Made of stainless steel, it is elegant with a cool touch exterior. I find it versatile: the kettle is not "just to make tea". It is fast, it is useful, it it convenient, and I love it. I am glad I waited for this special one.

It will help with tea, coffee, instant oatmeal, and Ramen Noodles. It is so cute and compact and fits my needs perfectly. Great Cool Touch Electric Tea Kettle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Cool Touch Stainless Steel Electic Kettle,White a few weeks ago. I just love the tea kettle. I put water in to make a cup of tea and before I sat down the water was boiling. I would feel very comforable letting my young grandchildren used it without any fears. The tea kettle can be used to make baby formula which I was very exited about because I am expected another grand child. I cleaned the tea kettle and it was just as shiny as the day I got it. Wonderful product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous kettle (different brand) had some issues with the lining chipping off but I liked it so much I was hesitant to look for a new one. I really like this kettle...the only downside is that the minimum line is more than I had hoped (when you only want to make one cup of tea!) and for entertaining, I wish it had a larger max capacity, but for regular day-to-day use, it serves its purpose well!
