No functional audible notification.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally, the microwave is fine on the heating and cooking functions. The issue with it may seem small, but the audible notification sound is so low in volume that it is useless, and it can't be adjusted. If something is mistakenly left inside, there is no notification alert. And we just have to estimate the time if we walk into a different room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The flawless microwave

Was leary at first about the exhaust system which works beautifully
The top kitchen cabinets are white and the white microwave looks exquisite
Over all the microwave performs flawlessly and we are very happy with our choice

Nice and compace, BUT....

I've had this almoost a year, have a love/hate relationship with it. Poor design in 1) it's hard to clean without setting off touch buttons (including fan and light). Every time! 2) there's no lock-out for fan/light buttons, for cleaning exterior. 3) the turntable design was designed by a design school dropout! Terrible, it's an exercise in frustration when they separate, which is almost every time using. Almost spilling hot liquids is an ER visit waiting to happen. Whirlpool needs to RECALL the turntable and replace with single, steady piece!! Do so and it'd be 5 stars with buy recommendation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] wanted to add a microwave over the stove that just had a hood vent. Thought we would have to do a lot of work because there wasn't enough room for the microwave. Found out we could get a smaller one in height and it fit perfect with out having to redo the cabinet above, worked out great

bad -
- lacks features like those who can be found in a Samsung microwave. e.g a timed light that could be served as a night light.
- air damper interface is not a tight fit. That leads to the need to use duct tapes and sealers to fill in the gaps.
- should design to have 2 air vents on the underside. The current 1 vent design is not effective in pulling air out even with the fan set on high (too much noise then)

Excellent appliance!

does not fit in the new one. It is quiet and frees up so much counter space. We love it!
