Little things will drive you nuts

Have owned the unit for 2 days. The actual microwave seems to work well. The back wall bracket also is a pilot hole template. Be aware that the template is not reversible. Line up the template with the top of the oven to make sure your holes will line up. Now for the real annoying part….the glass carousel runs on a 3 wheel trolly. It wanders all over the oven. Super annoying. I have owned 3 such ovens in my life and all thr others have a 4 wheel trolly. Did Whirlpool cut corners to save 8 cents? My guess is this was overlooked. If I was aware of this I may have checked out the competition.

Attention to small details would have been nice...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It saves space like we wanted but the glass turntable comes off too often due to the lack of depth in the groove for the rotation support. Also, it would have been nice to shut off the beeps of the unit. Especially when it is done heating.

Only made it a 1.5 years before issues arose

We bought this microwave about 1.5 year ago and it was awesome but we recently discovered that it’s coming apart at the seems on the inside. Really disappointed because I really liked it. Now I’m on the hunt for a whole new microwave because of safety concerns.

Great microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave works great, but it sticks out a lot further than my cabinets. You can see it a little in the photos, but I didn’t realize it would stick out quite that far. Still love it.

We've had this about 3 months. It does what it is supposed to in terms of heating food but I don't love it. My favorite feature is the 30 second button. Negatives: 1.There is no way to turn the sound off. This alone would have stopped me from buying it. Our kitchen is right outside the bedroom so a bunch of beeping while someone is sleeping isn't pleasant and it doesn't just beep once but has a little jingle. 2. Bowls plates get hot before the food. This wasn't an issue with my last microwave. 3. The light underneath is a joke. Unfortunately that is a dark spot in my kitchen so I rely on it when cooking so am very disappointed. Clearly the designer doesn't cook as I know others with this complaint. I would NOT purchase again and can't will get rid of this when we remodel in a few years. Was not worth the price even at half off.
