Open door sensor beeping malfunction common

We love the refrigerator, however, many have commented that the door open sensor malfunctions. We cannot seem to find any support to permanently disconnect the beeping sensor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Great Refrigerator

I bought it 8 years ago and it is the best refrigerator I have ever had. The price was not so high by that time and I do not understand why instead of going down prices are going up today. It requires a small place, there is no noise, a lot of space inside, great for 1 or 2. I love the style/ design.

Great features & size perfect for galley kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with LG 12 cubic foot refrigerator. Has ice machine and keeps food at perfect temperatures. If I had to find one fault is that my Brita pitcher does not fit in it.

perfect size for an apartment or condo

Clean and sleek design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge to replace a 40 year old fridge in my apartment. I love the ice maker. The doors also have a feature where they pull shut if you get it close enough to closed. So it seems like you can't accidentally leave it cracked open.

Nice fridge

So far so good! It came with a tiny dent in the door and LG sent a guy out to replace the door super quickly! Very good service, very nice fridge! Matches quite well with our LG stove.
