I purchased this unit yesterday (6/17) after doing my research. Many micro-cut shredders felt cheap when I inspected them. Went to Walmart and found this unit, which has substantial weight and I liked the layout configuration setup. This morning set it up and I'm very impressed as my old shredder to 15+ years old - cuts paper shreds! This product get a 10 for me ....1st impressions are lasting impressions!

Plastic bin cracked on receipt

I just received this shredder from Walmart.com 2 days ago. Upon opening the box I noticed that the plastic bin was broken and cracked. I believe that the plastic for the bin was rattled by the very heavy shredder unit and that there was not enough packaging to protect the bin during shipping. The unit box and the shipping box were both in excellent shape so I don't believe that mishandling during shipping was the problem. With all that being said, I did use the shredder and the damage to the bin is not preventing the unit from working. I am concerned that where pieces that were broken off and the cracking, that over time it will just continue to get worse. I am extremely happy with the micro shredding and it seems to be operating as expected. I really appreciate the quietness of the shredder. Also, I am very happy with the size of the collection bin and I have found it easy to empty without making a mess and having pieces spill everywhere. Is it possible to just get a replacement bin or do I need to return the complete unit and start from scratch?

I love the color..white is classy. I love how quite it is, barely hear it. Also love it that I can easily put 12 pieces of paper in it without it jamming. Again it work likes a champ! Thanks!

Amazing performance!

My old shredder (another brand) was noisy, got slower, and jammed continually. When one of the internal plastic gears broke and it no longer functioned, I remembered that I had previously owned a Fellowes crosscut shredder; it performed well and lasted a good long time. I checked the ratings of shredders and found Fellowes to be among the top brands recommended. From the first time I used this new one, I was AMAZED at how quiet it was, and how small the shredded pieces were! It's nearly confetti!

I have owned a Fellowes paper shredder for more than 12 years and it still works but a little louder now. I have used my new Fellowes Ms12 for hours now today and no complaints. I'm looking forward to the same quality and features as my old one.

I have owned Fellowes Shredders before but this is the best and most effecient I have owned. Would recommend it to others looking for an effecient, jam resistant, safe operating shredder. Also the removable bin is a big plus as well.
