This is my third Fellowes shedder in three years

I buy Fellowes because it is supposed to be top of the line. This is my third Fellowes shedder in three years. I use it a few times a week to shred mail of anything that has personal information on it. I have had to purchase a new one every year. I doubt it can handle a home office if it can't handle envelopes and labels.
Pros: Secure Cut Size
Cons: Quality Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Love! Our machines are not designed to shred labels which could be contributing to the trouble that you are encountering. The sticky attributes of labels can cause the cutting blocks of any shredder to gum up and not operate as intended. We are sorry for the inconvenience!

Great Little Compact Shredder

We purchased this compact, cross-cut shredder recently and are very pleased with its performance. Since we only purchased it for personal use at home, it does a great job. We particularly like the cross-cut feature which many smaller shredder don't have. It's attractively designed, operates quietly, and is of very good quality for the price. It has a 7-limit sheet capacity, but we're not looking for a high-capacity machine. We would certainly recommend to others looking for a home shredder.

Quiet, but sturdy

I just bought this as a replacement for another shredder that literally blew apart after several days of off-and-on use. This unit feels much sturdier, and I HOPE it will last a long time! My only "complaint" (a small one) is that the window in the receptacle is a tinted plastic, which makes it too hard to see when the paper level is near the top. Should be CLEAR plastic. Also I would expect it to have at least a limited warranty, but there's none mentioned.

Died after a month of use

This shredder died on me after a month of use. I used it at home for old bills, and junk mail. I didn't even fill up the basket. I spent a little more on this item, thinking it would last a long time. Was I wrong. I might as well buy a cheap one. I will never buy another Fellows shredder. I need to share the poor quality with others.

Worth the buy

Fast and easy to use. Set-up was so simple. Compact and sleek design yet strong enough to get job done. Make sure you don't want what your shredding because this little sucker will shred it to pieces. It takes care of all those pesky credit card solicitation mail. Over all I enjoy my shredder.

Best option for the money

Using the shredder was simple and easy to use. Very quiet running . Hopefully won't need to use the warranty with this machine.
