Would not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the excessive packaging made it very difficult to remove the barbie from the car. Also, there were absolutely no instructions included. The barbie was strapped into the car's seat belt, and it was hard to figure out how to remove the belt. There was no release button, so eventually I yanked on it really hard to release it and get the barbie out. There is no way my child would be able to do the same on her own. Also, I was never able to remove the plastic packaging from the barbie's hair. As for the car itself, there were two side mirrors that I was unable to attach to the car. No matter how hard I tried to push them into the slot, they kept falling out. It was as if they did not fit, so we left them off completely. Overall, my child enjoyed the barbie, but was not too interested in the car because it was too difficult for her to use the seat belt.
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cute car, better Barbie doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter who is 4 received this car. At first, we did not realize the car actually came with a Barbie Doll.
The doll itself, is awesome. She's really beautiful and looks really "glam". The car, however, is something to be said about.
The car is totally solid - no opening doors and no trunks. It almost feels like one of those dollar store cheap cars and not something Barbie would drive. It is glittery pink - so it is really pretty.
The seatbelts on the car were a huge problem. We ended up removing the belts. With the belts in, the Barbie was hard to remove and put back into the car. They were very difficult to strap in, even for an adult! Once we removed the seatbelts, there was no problem.
The side mirrors are removable, but they easily fell out. Even just playing (not rough playing), they just fell out. The stickers for the front lights and back easily are coming off. They are peeling at the corner. We've only had the car a few days and they are already peeling off. There is also a tiny plastic bend on the windshield.
My daughter doesn't seem to notice these things except the seatbelts. She does enjoy putting her dolls in the car and making them drive around. It's lightweight for her to play with.
Overall, the car is cheaply made, but the doll you get with the car is wonderful. The car might be great for smaller kids because once you remove the seatbelts and mirrors, it's pretty solid. Older kids might not like the cheapness of the car.
Cons: Low quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the doll and glam convertible just in time for my daughters 6th birthday. She was thrilled!! She hasn't stopped playing with it. Perfectly sized for her. Seems to be well made and durable, which is good because my kids are pretty rough with their toys.

Amazing product for litte girls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the Barbie Doll and Glam Convertible. First let me start off with the Barbie. She comes as most of us parents remember, with beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a very pretty pink dress on and cute little pink heels. She is safely in the Convertible with her seatbelt, which I love because it has taught my daughter, not only does she have to buckle up but her favorite toy Barbie does too. Barbie is classis in this toy and I love the choice of her clothing which she is modesly dressed, with a knee length dress and the heels are cute heels for summer time. Barbie also comes with some cute sunglasses which are conviently located on her head. Now I will get to the Convertible. This has to be the cutest little car for Barbie. The car of course is pink in true Barbie fashion. It looks just like the real thing. There are seatbelts as I have noted for the Barbie and for one other person. The car really does have a good set of wheels on it. My daughter can play with it in her room, the kitchen, living room, and even outside in the grass. The imagation for you child with this is amazing. Definitely a great toy for any child.

They dont require a lot of set up and the barbies fit in the car very well.
The wheels rolls and work great and its a lot of fun to push barbie around.
My daughter had a great time playing with it and I was impressed by its durability.
I love this toy and always have been a huge fan of the barbie convertible. I love that the design hasnt changed much but still remains modern.
Overall its a great versatile toy that has hours of playtime packed in it.

She is always playing with it and I have to say that its great quality and perfect size for my daughter. Love that the barbie comes with nice clothes and shoes. The car is amazing that it comes with seatbelts and my daughter can put a second doll in barbie's side to play! Thank for the chance of reviewing this toy and I would completely recommend it to other parents!
