So Simple a One Eyed Monkey Could Do Taxes

I have been using Turbo Tax for 12+ years. After paying Accountants & CPSs to file my taxes and them making mistakes. I figured I'd save the money paid to them and make my own mistakes. However, I haven't made any! I love how they have those little boxes that you can click on that gives more of an explanation. I use them quite often as I only do taxes once a year and forget the information.

Estate Taxes Made Easy

I was stuck not knowing how to do my Mom's estate taxes and all the forms I should use. I didn't want to go to a CPA and pay the huge fees associated with that. I called TurboTax Business and found that program would do it all. And yes, it did answer all my questions step by step. I feel quite relieved after just filing my 1041 that all is correct. I've mailed the K-1's to my siblings. The TTBusiness CD did the letters from me to my sibs along with K-1 form. What a blessing! and relief.

I have used this for years. I haven't had any problems. Its nice to have files to import from prior year and using Quickbooks import as well.

Minor but Painful Issue

We have used Turbo Tax for years and have valued the ease. This time a minor slip up was impossible to correct and had to delete our return, choose not to use "previous year info" and start from scratch entering all info. Problem? Missed a zero in number of shares on K-1 schedule. Hard as I tried, could not just edit or click on and enter correct amount. You definitely need to work on this minor issue as it is a sure deal breaker for us.
