Easy to Use for Federal! I wish they had my state!

I was completely overwhelmed trying to figure out taxes for my small business (partnership). This made it really easy to do and I was able to get it all done quickly and confidently. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars, is because they mark on the purchase that state filing is an additional cost (which I was okay with!), but it was not apparent that they don't include 'every' state. It just so happens that I can't file my state taxes through this software. So I will have to find another program or accountant that can file for me.

Too Expensive

The program worked well, although it did not ask me for numbers of shares held by shareholders. That information only got filled in during the errors found section. I think charging $50 just to transfer the federal information to each state form is outrageous!

It's Okay. Turbo Tax is problematic with Foreign Tax Credits.

it doesn't work with Quickbook online

it's my first time use desktop version. it doesn't work with Quickbook online. I have to manually type in all entries for balance sheet. step to step guide is confusing, I have to literally redone everything directly from the form. There is no live support for business for turbotax. help center information is also not target to small business owner.

1065 lacks equivilant detail and guidance vs 1040

The Partnership lacks guidance and requires advance tax preparation experience and user knowledge. The help file should never repeat the on screen question, but is the predominant norm. Unacceptable at this price point. The Virginia 520A (not required by instruction) was forced to be completed prior to e-filing. This should have asked if multi-state business. If no, skip the 520A sections.Unacceptable.
