Great way to do your taxes

With all the math you do, why don't you do this?

How did Turbotax allow me to have an unbalanced balance sheet without pointing out the the location of the discrepancy? You can do the math for me and point it out.

Glitchy software

Somehow the software decided to submit a form for partnerships. I am the only owner and have no partners. I had to manually go in to my return and remove this form. I should not have to correct your software problems

Not as great as I had hoped

I have used Turbo Tax Home and Business for years for my personal taxes and Schedule C income from my side business. When I started a partnership this year, I thought Turbo Tax Business would be easy to use for the more complicated tax return. Wrong! It doesn't save the info in several fields so you have to re-enter it every time, you have to wait weeks to get the correct forms uploaded so you can completer your return, the order in which calculates the balance sheet reports results in owner's equity always being out of balance, plus you have to pay full price for the state even if your state doesn't let you e-file. For the amount of frustration, I would have just hired an accountant.
