This year turbo tax is very difficult, complecated

Calculator has issues.

Same issues year after year

I have used TurboTax since the MS-Dos days. For fiduciary returns (1041) the same problem has existed for years. I click "Forms Errors" -- no errors, Final Review -- no errors. Then, I go to file and suddenly TurboTax says that I need a statement for Form 1116 item 3a for whatever columns are being used. The explanation neededis that the "other deduction" is for trust income distribution to beneficiary. First of all, there is no excuse for not catching this error earlier. Second of all, TurboTax should be able to fill in the statement in the first place. It is time for TurboTax to fix this issue.

I would like some more explanations....

I like turbo tax and have used it since I had to switch 5.25" floppy disks. However, I would really like to see better explanations.....much, much better explanations. You should be able to click on a blank in a form or a box on a form, and get a turbo tax explanation for what is being asked of you for that blank or that box. Why hasn't turbo tax ever done this? It has been far, far too many years that I have been asking for this and it has NEVER EVER been done. Way, way overdue.
