Turbo Business Directed Me To The Wrong State

I am a North Carolina domiciled trustee for a Michigan resident Trust. The Business program upon my first use adamantly insisted the state return was "required" to be filed in NC, presumably because of my address, and at that juncture would not permit me to "change" states. Getting around that roadblock and securing the Michigan Fiduciary program was a significant challenge. Once the proper state program was secured, all was quite smooth.

Updates were late

I like the product, but it is frustrating every year to have all my information gathered, but Turbo Tax consistently does not have all their forms completed, so I am not able to complete our business taxes, which keeps me from filing our personal taxes. I believe they should dedicate more resources to getting this product completed by Jan 1st every year. Our business has deadlines to prepare our forms and file them for vendors, employees, and City business licenses. Intuit should have to meet these deadlines too.

A couple of bugs you should be aware of

This it not a review, but a bug report; please pass to your development team.
1) When saving a PDF version of your return, if you happen to have saved it previously and happen to have the file open, TT correctly informs you that the file exists, but when it tries to overwrite it, it just silently fails (i.e., it does not overwrite the open file and does not notify you that the file is in use).
2) On the PA state (S Corp) return: Apparently TT and/or PA now require that the shareholders names be separated into first/middle/last. If there were no shareholder changes and you do NOT go through the "update shareholder info" options, the K-1s print without the names on them. The Review does not pick this up either.

less capable than turbotax personal

Needed the business product to do a decedant's trust. Though it costs more, it was a lot less capable than turbotax personal. Doesn't import from financial institutions; I had to laboriously transcribe stock sales from my paper 1099-b. Sure glad I didn't have a lot of them. Doesn't have the forms or much clue what to do with my 1099-R. I just entered that as other income by hand. Generally I found myself floundering a lot without much helpful guidance from the program. Maybe I've been spoiled by turbotax personal, but this was sure a letdown.
