Fairly easy to use. E-File for Federal return very easy.
To me, I suspect more printed docs than required for Fed & State, but better safe than sorry.

Turbotax need improvement

The only advantage od using Turbotax is it has the forms available to fill in. Using it is not an easy task. Not only there are many areas it does not cover, it has quite a lot bugs you need to work around. The obvious one is once it goes through the steps, if you jump back to a previous step and make changes, it usually does not automatically reflect back to impacted forms, and gives errors during review, and you need to try to understand where the error came from and find the missing links. This sometimes is very time consuming and it needs a lot of tax knowledge. This is not a fool proof software that you can just follow its steps without any tax knowledge. If you do so, I guarantee you either could not get to the tax filing step, or you will have errors on tax forms and eventually get penalty from IRS.

Disappointing TurboTax Business

This is the sixth year I've used TTB for the Estate tax returns. Many parts of it are easy to use and understand, but there are other areas that should be worked on. Here are some examples: There is no help for estates that have a lot of real estate to dispose of and there is no help for an Estate that receives K-1's from another Estate. What I mean by no help, is that the interview questions do not cover these areas so you have to figure it out on your own how to properly report these items. These two areas need a lot of work to make TTB user friendly. So why did I continue to use it? Well, I've used TT for my personal taxes for many many years and it is great. So I stuck it out with TTB and struggled along with it because there are not many other alternatives. If the Estate had been bigger I would have recommended just turning it over to a CPA firm.

Business version needs to be available for Mac

The PC version is fairly cumbersome. would be much better if it were written for macs

Tax Lines from QB to Turbotax not compatible

I struggled with the identification of correct tax lines from Quickbooks into Turbotax. I had them correct in Quickbooks but upon import, Turbotax ignored many of my tax line assignments. Those tax line assignments were correct and have been for years.
