Not thorough

Could not handle large number entries for capital gains/lossess. As am acive trader, we generated large dollar volumes of stock purchases and sales. The program was not happy with any numbers over $9.9 mln.
Also, despite the fact that there seem to be nearly daily updates to the software, nobody bothered to update the filing deadline from April 15 to May 17.

TurboTax had little help for complex trust filing

We have used Turbo Tax Business for 2 years now to file the 1041 for a complex trust. We are new to this product and found very little in the way of help answering some of the prompts in the step-by-step process. Like where to go to find out the answers to the questions.

TT won't let me submit my returns keep looping.
After many hours I found out it was because of form "virginia 502A".
I had to manually delete the form to make it work.
I paid a lot of money for the software and deserve better

Turbotax is super easy to use

The best part is it explains each and every entry, so we understand what we are doing - even for s-cors, it was not that difficult to use the system.
