Excellent Business Tool

Love the product. Makes filing taxes yourself very simple and easy. A background in accounting helps but isn't necessary.

TurboTax Business Pretty Good, Not Great

The step-by-step process is easy to complete. In the Deductions section, some of the categories can be explained better. Most importantly, the QuickBooks import does not work without the desktop app. Since the desktop app is discontinued, it is now impossible to import QuickBooks data into TurboTax using QuickBooks online. I called in to TurboTax and QuickBooks; both representatives confirmed this is correct. It is a big problem.
Also, it is not MAC compatible.

Turbo Tax Software is great

Turbo Tax online sucks. It is very hard to locate the site where you can purchase the Turbo Tax Software Download, but when you do it is great. Turbo Tax Online is so terrible and so is the website.

Really lacks a lot, especially the state version

Really lacks a lot for Trusts returns, especially the state version which is a bit of money considering it is not much more than plugging a couple of things form the Fed. The reviews are a joke, especially the state that just says look at the form. No guidance on additional forms. It asks you if you need to file other forms. Saving return truncates and when try to change it saves as the original truncated. If you have more than one for an estate it doesn't save uniquely due to truncation. None of this gives a confident feeling about the product or accuracy.

Turbotax has annoying flaws

I was stuck in an infinite loop for filling in the Personal Reprentative, so was not able to efile.
Other issues: Turbotax business needs to support Macs and Idaho State tax forms
