Turbo Business Almost There

Turbo Business is great to use until the review/check process. Sometimes trying to figure out what caused an error and especially how to fix it is a little convoluted.

Still lots of room to improve

I can't wrap my head around how the personal Turbotax can be so easy and borderline enjoy-able, yet the Business version lacks that same ease of use. It was less of a struggle over last year but still pretty cringe-worthy, especially on the state end. For all the work you do to get us to pay to file our tax returns, the least you can do is to dumb it all down so we aren't terrified we're going to make mistakes.

Less support than non-business Turbotax programs

Wasn't really impressed. I used it for a trust filing. Had to go in and find and add relevant forms myself (i.e. installment sale form 6252) because the software didn't prompt me for installment sale income.
Would be helpful if there was a trust specific question site as well.
Paying so much more for this program but felt less confident in my return. Will not order again.

End of Year Inventory

SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVMENT: It looks like TurboTax 2020 rognized and transferred over my 2019 end-of-year inventory, and ten started working with that number assuming inventory was sold in 2020. This was not the case, whereas previous year inventory was only partially sold during 2020. recognizing this possibility would help greatly.

Better than a tax accountant

Would be nice if TurboTax Business could estimate SE tax as you go. Also explanations of tax situations could be explained better, perhaps with links to the actual line item of the IRS instructions form.
